Experience
I attended Whitman College for my undergrad degree, and then moved to Scotland to pursue my Masters of Science. I now have my MSc, and I received distinction (similar to honors) on my dissertation. I've taken all sorts of classes ranging from English courses, French literature courses, archaeology, anthropology, sports medicine, anatomy, physiology, and public health. I was trained as a tutor at Whitman and used to help tutor a few students in basic sciences as well as with essay writing skills and editing. I would like to be a tutor because I really enjoy reading, writing, and editing. I think we've forgotten that doing these things can be enjoyable because they are seen as work rather than as a hobby or something to be enjoyed. I also just like to teach and/or help!

Hobbies
I love to read, especially fiction and dystopian fiction. I'm basically a big nerd! And while my MSc is in Medical Anthropology, I want to pursue a type of medical science degree- perhaps become a physician assistant eventually. Right now I work in a sports medicine clinic, which I love. I play a bit of guitar, I like to sing, and I wish I was better at writing music. I'm a big dog lover.
