Education

I have a B.S. in Biochemistry (minor in Psychology) from California Polytechnic State University. I graduated in 2008 and since this time have worked full time as a tutor while applying to medical school.

Experience:

I tutor students at both the college and high school level and have worked with most all of the high schools and colleges in the Seattle area.

In addition to math and science course work I also enjoy working on writing, humanities, and study skills. I also do SAT, ACT, and MCAT test preparation. In addition to tutoring I work part time in the Issaquah Swedish Emergency Room.

Tutoring gives me the opportunity to help guide students toward their future academic and career goals. I have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people with so many different passions. I also cherish the opportunity to mentor my younger students through their high school years and to help prepare them for college.

Hobbies:

I spend what free time I have playing basketall and working at '826 Seattle' as an after school tutoring and creative writing volunteer : )
